I’m a Texas gal in her late thirties, married to a guy who is just as wonderful and deranged as I am. Haha, I kid. He’s probably the normal one in the relationship. I cook, read until I forget the world, take naps on my yoga mat and worry too much. I like to pretend that makes me a thoughtful person.
I adore food. My favorite flavors are chiles, ginger, lemongrass, kaffir lime, pineapple, fresh herbs and coconut. I love making Thai curries or anything I can put in a tortilla. My ultimate comfort food is a big bowl of pho. I will never ever turn down a glass of red wine or some good scotch.
I started this blog because I can’t seem to shut up about food, but it evolved into a place where I can share my life with friends and family who are far away. I may go through long stretches without writing, particularly when I’m feeling uninspired or a little introverted. But when the wine starts talking? Watch out for the f bombs.
